I had my son on Jan 7th. My postpartum contractions and bleeding stopped around Jan 11th. My discharge instructions said I could resume sex in 1 week. My husband and I did it almost everyday from the 21st - 26th - unprotected/no BC (he left the 26th for Iraq) . Feb 8th I started having mild cramps and pink spotting (and mucus to the 9th). The spotting ended on the 11th but I'm still having the mild cramps, no bleeding/spotting. I have been feeling exhausted, emotional and my boobs having been tender, swollen and sore. When I got pregnant with my son I had cramps for a week but without the spotting. Normally, I only get cramps on the first day of my period after I have started my bleeding. Could it be possible I am pregnant, again? Took a HPT the 31st (neg.) to make sure no hCG leftover.
Yes I am aware of the affects from all this. However, I have no problems with having another baby so soon. Before anyone flys off the handle

My 6 week check up is the 21st. I just want an opinion before the visit.

Very possible you could be pregnant again, but I would make an appointment with your doctor for early detection and care if there indeed is a developing embryo 'setting up house' so to speak.

I became pregnant on two 'different' occasions while being ON birth-control both times! So, my thoughts are to be better safe now than sorry in the future if proper care is not given at this time.

OK, of course you could be pregnant. Everyone is going to say so, blah blah blah.

Truthfully, you just had a child. You had unprotected sex less than 2 weeks after your body began to get back to normal hormone levels after the birth. It is highly unlikely that you are pregnant again. Your body did not have time to mature and release an egg during the time you were having sex. Irish twins usually are concieved at least 6 weeks after a birth.

Well its possible I know i thougth that two when i had my son and when i went for my six weeks check up i asked for a pregnancy test. So i would say when you go on wed. you should deffinatly tell them you would like to have one just to be on the safe side so you know and you can tell your husband as well. Im sure he will be surprised and happy to hear that. I have heard of many cases of that so most deffinatly it is possible. Hey i think its cool i mean your kids are going to be able to grow up together and be technically the same age well at least for a few months.

Honestly i think you are probaly not pregnant. your body probaly did not have time to release an egg. I can imagine that life with your husband in iraq while raising a baby is tough. i would probaly want another child as well.
