My husband told me about this couple (the girl is blind). The girl finally had a donor and the operation a success. When the girl can finally make full use of her eyes, she looked for her love one only to find out he's blind and then rejected him. He said before she leaves him, " just take good care of my eyes".
My husband said it's a true story.
Don't you just want to slap her hard.

You know, I can't believe this is true, I've never heard of an eye-surgeon who willingly makes someone blind (even when this person gives his/her permission) to make another person see.
It would be totally unethical, and I don't think the hospital this doctor works in would even come close to allowing it.
As far as I know cornea-transplantations are only done from a person who has past away to a living donor.
Mind you, if it IS true, then this woman must have a heart of stone, nothing you would do or say to her would be understood by her, I'm afraid.

The story isn't true, in all common sense.
But think about it this way, maybe the girl still VERY deeply loves her boyfriend, and THAT is why she can't bear to look at him and remember what pain he must be going thru just to make her see again.
Think about it, every morning she would have to wake up and realize what a tragedy her boyfriend had embraced for her sake. Maybe she went of to never fall in love again..

I've not heard it and I wouldn't believe it if I had anyway.
You know how the papers always exaggerate.
Maybe it did happen but not like that.
Maybe she got her sight back and they split up for another reason, and her boyfriend was gutted at her finishing with him, so he sold the story and lied about the reason that they finished. After all, no one wants to read about an average breakup, do they??
If it is true, which I do doubt, she 's a nasty, evil, shallow piece of work!!!

If its a true story it is deffinately out of order, I think she should be grateful to get her own site back and you would think she would know how it is to be blind
