I am amazed at how prevalent American media and culture is in other parts of the world.
I am an american and I have heard Australians saying that most of their tv is American.
What bout UK?
How long has it been like this?
What percentage of radio, tv, and movies are American?
Do people like it that much or is it being forced on you? (serious)

a lot of the movies in cinemas in the UK are American produced, as are quite a few of the programmes on TV, this is mainly if you have digital though, many of the programmes on terrestrial TV are English. I have never heard an American radio station in the UK as the signal wont go that far!!

I'm from Ireland and a lot of the films shown here are american. Very rarely is there Irish stuff. But remember what size Ireland is in comparison to the US. It's tiny! So America's bound to produce more films then us. All our radio is irish (but all except for one or 2 are spoken in english). Tv is mostly american or English. Ireland only has about 3 channels that are irish (2 spoken in english and one in irish)
