Think about the existence of ants; they actually exist by virtue of a series of flukes or chances probably seen nowhere else in our solar system because only here on Earth is the environment suitable, and lucky enough for the series of coincidences that led to their existence to actually complete. Humans are no different, or any other of Earths species in truth. Therefore you are here to eat, grow, compete for a mate, breed, educate and protect your offspring; repeat this loop until your health fails and then die; just like ants, monkeys and elephants.
A quick other note: Religion has nothing to do with existence, it was invented by man and depending on who you are as an individual, i.e. either controlling and manipulative, or frightened and submissive, be either in control of the population and extract personal benefits from them (money / sex), or it is a club to which you can belong to help you deal with your own fears and insecurities (just beware of the controlling few who want something from you.. even if it’s only you adoration). Dolphins are equally as intelligent as man if not more so, they just get quality of life without laws, work or taxes, and they don’t need tools (from word processors to farming equipment to cars).
One last note: Enjoy it NOW because it will be over very soon.

You know, we're just guests here. I mean, on earth. If you're even a little religious, you know we'll go either to heaven or hell.
We are given time, by God, to live a honest life away from all the bad things and sins. Then we will be judged.
Yes, that's it! There are not complicated missions, we don't have to save the world or anything, we just have to save ourselves.
BUT, if there was a point you wanted to make while asking the question, like "I don't exactly know what I should do with my life", then I say you'll find out eventually. Just be a good person, believe me, everything's going to be OK then.

why does there have to be a "point" to human existence? does it have to be "about" something? you need something "more"?
why not just accept life as it is? why not live in the moment? isn't that enough? i think this is an egoistic question. certainly, it is a question asked by many down through the years, but it seems to presuppose the asker has mastered life as it is and is ready to move on to a higher stage. but how many do you know that have indeed mastered this life as it is? not one, i'll warrant.
people who ask this question, remind me of someone sitting down to the first course of a twelve course meal and before even the entree is served they ask "Is that all there is?" so focused are they on the desert, it matters little what the main courses might be. they will not enjoy them. it is best to live in the moment, enjoy each course as it is served, and save the Zabaglione until it's time.

Who the hell told you it was 'living to the maximum and multiplying'? Seems like an awfully selfish, immoral, hedonistic lifestyle to me.
Who says there is a purpose. You have to find your own. Its not a science question.

The point of human existence is for humans to realise the pointlessness of human existence.
Or, if you prefer a biblical explanation as some here insist on "Meaningless, meaningless, everything is meaningless" - Ecclesiastes.

As close to as everybody can tell, we truly have continually had it. The very earliest internet sites etc., that predate present day guy tutor signs and indications of particular burials, and such issues as that that look to indicate religious beliefs of a few style. notwithstanding, many assume that we "created" faith to describe issues. My questioning is that the Divine (what we call God in Christianity) become continually there, and people attempt to comprehend Him/Her/It as perfect we may be able to. we do not fairly get it precise, yet we do the perfect we may be able to. So, faith isn't created out of skinny air, yet tries through us to make sure out what's actual there.

Why be racist? The real existential question here should be;
What's the point of life? we are nothing special in evolution so do not discriminate.
As to that I do not know but I will definitely not go with God knows because that answers nothing.

well scientifically speakin there is nothing more to it, we r just a life form like everything else around and our superior knowledge is just a part of evolution. On the other hand what we do or make out of our lifes is totaly up to us, so we can have purpose to live for and keep going for it until we r gone.

It's not science's job to define "meaning" of existence. That's a subjective question, better suited for philosophy.
