just keep wiping is nose, , you could try with a cotton pud ,just very gently put inside his nose ,don´t push it up , just a little inside to remove some of the mucus, also this will make him sneeze, and will release all the stuff blocked inside. ,also run the water in the bathroom when there is enough steam sit in there with him the condensation will help clear his little nose god bless

Hi there, I hope this helps but I was actually told a few drops of breast-milk helps clear it (yes, really - up the nose)
If you're a bit squeamish about this, the other options are saline solution (you can buy it from chemists but check the minimum age on this) Plus I have noticed that some companies produce a pump type thing to help suction it out again.

Good luck!

Your little one will hate it but use the bulb syringe and just keep on it. You can also try some Vick's or Mentholatum near his face but not actually rubbed on since it can cause gagging due to the strength, but the vapors may help a little. Also for sleeping for the time being you should have his head a bit elevated. Put him to sleep in his car seat or a swing. My daughter was the same way and her breathing actually scared me when she was sleeping cuz it was so bad sounding. We both slept better when she was elevated. It will probably go away in the next couple of weeks but if it doesn't then take her to a pediatrician (midwives expertise isn't in child care but child birth and child birth education).

Its one of those things you just have to go with, my little one was like that she was very mucussy and she still is now if she gets a cold.
My midwife said that it was normal but that at some point she do a huge vomit and that would clear it out and I think when she was around 2 weeks she did and it cleared up.

gentle circular rubs at the bridge of his nose either side and along his eye sockets above his cheeks.pull gentle away from his nose across this area too.a tissue with karvol on under his sheet too so it doesnt come into contact with his skin poor little mite goodluck honey this is bound to help.it is also a good relaxation massage so he will love it and find comfort from it,two uses!

You can get from your chemist or the doctor some saline nose drops which will help loosen the mucus and he will then hopefully sneeze it out, hope hes soon better

Use a nose aspirater to remove them, make sure to squeeze it before inserted in the nose otherwise it can cause damage. Also make sure that there is not a secondary infection causing the snot. I would take him to a pediatrician.

Get a bulb syringe and use it to suction out the mucus from the nose.
