None of us in this life can know the universal truth.... in order for that one has to transcend the space and time dimensions, since anything in the realms of space and time is impermanent and subject to change.

Philosophers are people. They are born, live, and die just like us. How do you know one of us on Yahoo Answers isn't the next great philosopher? A great many philosophers only rise to prominence after their death and influence on other people spans a couple of generations. It seems mighty presumptuous of you to speculate with such certainty about the knowledge level, expertise, and intelligence of an entire group of people. Especially when you aren't even naming the philosopher that everyone on here is apparently inferior to.

Your question presupposes the idea of truth and knowledge. Since I have doubts on the idea of knowledge or what it means to know something as I have yet to see a good definition of knowledge your question is meaningless. Please prove knowledge exists first. In the mean time I'll continue holding the position that its impossible to know anything since knowledge has not yet been defined in a manner that makes sense.

Dear Beamus,
Take me to your planet..I shall learn to submit. Yes, for I am the slave. Is Zsa Zsa there?
She knows the Universal Truth...didn't you see the one where she was on Venus with her GFs and the spacemen landed.
Does that have anything to do with the Universal Truth?
Oh well, back to the movie, or another Slave Women of Gor novel.
Yes, yes...please (as he looked pitifully into the eyes of the woman with a black whip) don't, don't!!!

I think Cosmic Truth trumps Universal Truth.
Everything I tell you is a lie<
Hence, if the above statement is true then it is false.
If it is false then it is true.
How do we KNOW what we know?
En oida oti ouden oida- one thing I know is that I know nothing.
