***NO, BUT I'VE COME DANGEROUSLY CLOSE TO GETTING STRUCK ONCE.***

Well, sorta. My sister and I were standing under the tree in my front yard and it was really raining very hard. Then lightning struck in the cul-de-sac across the street from our house and we both got zapped some how. It was pretty cool

I also shocked my self once trying to fix a TV that was plugged in but that is another story. Well, actually I guess that pretty much was the story.

NO, but I've seen it hit the beach when I was a kid, and it was only about 20 feet away from me - left me seeing spots for hours, and melted the sand into chunks of funky glass.

I've also been witness to other forces of nature, including (also when I was young) being inside the house one night, with my mother trying to keep me calm as a tornado went by our house about 50 yards away - it sounded like a freight train, and I could see bits and pieces of all sorts of things whirling around in it between lightning flashes - very scary to a kid.

No, but my Mom sort of was... lightening struck a barbed wire fence that she was working on , travelled down it and got her... knocked her out. Good thing she was wearing rubber boots, it could have been a lot worse.

I got here close as quickly as whilst i become approximately 10. The lightening got here so close you're able to smell it and the hair stood up on my palms and head. I actually have a robust buddy who become killed with the help of lightening whilst he become out on the lake and an unpredicted hurricane rolled in.
