One of my friends mistakenly went into the men's room at a restaurant, but didn't realize right away. She was sitting there (don't mind those urinals, hon), listening to bathroom sounds and realized she never heard anyone washing their hands. Then she heard a guy say something, and sat there, horrified, hoping the room would empty soon so she could leave. She heard her daughter calling her in the ladies room next door, but wouldn't come out of the stall until she was sure no one was in there. And she didn't stop to wash her hands, either.

Yep, in a movie theater I had been to many times, I walk in ready for business and think why did they remodel this? Where the hell did they put the urinals? So I head into a stall and commence firing,( I pretend I'm shooting Japs) and then I hear 2 woman talking and I think what the hell are they doing in the mens room and quite rapidly it all becomes clear to me...............

Not by accident. I have definitely used the men's room when the ladies room was full. But I made sure there were no men in there at the time and had a friend guard the door.
Although I did have a moment at an Outback Steakhouse where I had to figure out which one was the ladies room. They use the Australian slang on the doors, you know. Luckily, I made the right choice. :^)

First, it is interesting how your friend noticed how many men didn't wash their hands. How did she do this? Just to defend myself, I wash my hands 99% of the time-I am not perfect. Regardless, I actually went into a ladies' restroom, went in the stall and did my business. Right as I was finished, I heard female voices, and someone coughing and tapping in the stall next to me. Evidently, the lady next to me knew I was there. I waited until I couldn't hear anyone, and quickly slipped out. I got really lucky, but at least one person saw me as I exited. This was in a movie theatre, and I was embarassed, to say the least. True story. Since this incident, I always read the door to make certain I go to the correct one.

Yeah, i did not have my glasses on, so i could not see the signal in the door that properly. i grow to be questioning why at the same time as I washing my fingers someone gave me a unusual look. My cousin grow to be giggling at me because I used the incorrect bathing room. it is the most suitable time i'm going swimming with chlorine in my eyes and walking without my glasses the position i can not see precise. I wasn't embarrassed because it grow to be an honest mistake.

Yes it has happened to me.
But let me take about ladies in the restroom.
I worked for this large company and the cleaning
people woulds always tell me how the woman
would just trow there sanitary napkins on the
floor toilet paper not put in the commode.
So see you are not that innocent so don't trow stones.

Yes. We were on a road trip and my daughter had to go the bathroom. Fortunately, I noticed the urinals right away and we both got out quickly.

yes like in first grade.
but when i started at a new gym, i accidentally went to the men's locker room, changed, and put my stuff in a locker (no one was in there).
i didn't notice my error until i was going to get my stuff out.
i finally stopped this man and told him what happened and he waited 'til the locker room was clear and told me so i could get my stuff.
i guess i didn't see the big 'm' and the male sign... kinda blind
