But with nations like pakistan and of late india performing soooo badly i think that is doubtful unless their oponents bat first and wipe the floor with them then yep def 450 is on!!!
In addition, match fixing problems.....u never know whose still doing it and whose not..that also hurt the game badly!!!

Let me tell you... Pretty good chances after 10-15 years. 250 was a great score some 15 years back even when there were 60 overs a side. Now 250 is the minimum to score. With the addition of 5 more overs of powerplay and introduction of players like Dhoni, Mccullum, Kevin Peterson, Sehwag, Gilchrist etc., this is only going to go up. Sooner or later we will be seeing people chasing 350, 400 runs in ODIs

well it will definitely be there in the future, even now u can see scores are getting bigger and bigger, this is due mainly to the wickets that are being prepared these days,
they are the flattest wickets that have ever been made and thats because ODI is more for teh fans as is 20/20,
450 mite be alittle far off to being a regular thing, but u can see as in the recent series with india and west indies, 300+ was just abt a par score so its a definite possibility

depending. its a possibility. cause both teams made such a score. if one team made 438 and the other made a more sane total, u'd say, they had a extraordinary day, but the fact both teams made the total and south africa won that match, proves, there was some other reason that caused such a extraordinary total.
soon 300 will be a low score outside of the sub continent.

South Africa can do it again, I hope this will happen in the world cup. Maybe in a semi final between S.A. & Australia (This time it won't be like 1999).

It depends on the pitches where the matches are played. It the pitch is batsman's paradise, you can defenitely look for such
high scoring matches.
