The battery is the most important thing. Unless you plan to leave it outside in inclement weather, or where animals might be a serious concern, that is all you need to do. One other good tip is to fill the gas tank so you won't get alot of condensation. It seems to be much easier to start that way when you come back to it.

Ok now that the other fools have had ther way and told you nothing, let a mechanic tell you what to do.
Ok First remove the battery put it on a trikkle charger. It will charge the battery but not over charge.
Put in sta-bul into the fuel, it will keep the fuel frash.
Jack up the car and put ir on jack stands.
Wax the car but do not remove the was. It will protect the paint.
Put a plastic bag over the tail pipe. It will keep small anamials from making a home in there.
These things will keep the car well frash as thy say.
When you return, reinstall the battery, wash off the wax, let the car down onto the wheels and drive it away.

As others have said - Disconnect the battery and put it on a trickle charger, put the car up on axle stands so the tyres are off the ground (this is important as you will have to buy new tyres otherwise) and put some fuel stabiliser in the fuel tank. If you wanted you could drain the coolant and oil but I don't think that'll be nessecary just for three months.

If possible, leave everything connected and have a friend start it for you once every 2 weeks or so. Barring that, disconnecting the battery isn't a bad idea.
That said, though, I seriously doubt anything horrible would happen in only three months even if you did nothing.

All answers are fairly good, but 3 months really isn't that long of a time, depending on the climate conditions and the location of vehicle, inside vs outside. Make sure all fluid levels are topped off, add fuel stabilizer to the gas tank, you only really need to remove one of the battery cables to break the continuity, and be sure to lock the doors, remove any valuables that would tempt a thief!

The 2 answers above are right on. Stable (spelling) in the gas tank (get it from Walmart) and tires will be lop sided if the car sits. Actually 3months is not long but why not perpare it for it.

Fill the gas tank, it will prevent corrosion from condensation. Put it on blocks if you can. If you live in hot and wet area the leave one window cracked slightly to keep temp down. Get someone to start it every few weeks if youcan.
