Sooner or later you will want to tell them. Why not get it done so everyone can start to deal with it?

I am 22 and told my parents 2 years ago cous it was eating me up. they did not take it very well. I am not saying that your parents will hate you for the rest of your life but. there is a time and place for everything. You are the only person who knows when the time will be right to tell them. Don't tell them just becouse your friends' parents all know about them. Settle down in your new life and get to know who you are. Sooner or later you will have to tell them, but that doesn't meen that you have to tell them now. First make sure how they feel about Homosexuality. eas them into the idea instead of dropping it onto them.
My opinion, if you feel you have to do it differently..........your life

I have zero expereience in this topic, in fact I'm not sure why I'm even in this forum, BUT I doubt it will help if your BF speaks with your parents before you do.
Legally you are an adult.. be frank and honest with your parents. Unless they are in total denial, they probably have an inkling that you are gay anyways.
Honesty is the best policy in this case.

This is a completely personal choice on when to tell your parents. You should feel totally ready to deal with anything that might happen.

Take it from me. Any parent that really cares about their child wants that child to be happy. If they can't see that he makes you happy, then they really don't care, and therefore are not worth your time and energy. But I'll bet they already have a pretty good idea, most parents do, that is if they care about their kid.

well it's your choice to tell them or not...but as long as you don't tell them you won't be sharing your life with them..at least not who you really are...if that doesn't bother you then that's fine too.
