We continue to evolve.
Our next great leap will be in the spiritual realm. We can make tremendous strides toward a unified world if we can somehow convince more people that we as human beings can eliminate the cultural barriers that we have chosen to erect.
We can all become one with the universe as we collectively become more enlightened.

Man is capable of raising man to higher planes physically with most modern technologies and it has happened in the 20th century by advancement in industrialisation and new innovations,upgrading the living standards of a few (percentage is dismal) compared to the world population.
The tecnological progress continues at a much faster rate in this 21st century also,and no one knows ,where it will take man physically.
But,man is not at all capable of elevating man to higher planes of Godliness to treat all equal.
