THE TRUTH WILL ALWAYS SET YOU FREE.....
BUT it's a matter of whether or not you are able to handle the truth. Sometimes it's a bitter pill to swallow, and can cause almost as many problems as a lie. But lies only lead to more lies, and build upon each other layer after layer until no one, even the person telling the lie, can even remember what the truth really is.
TELL THE TRUTH - it will set you free, and give you the chance to make better choices in the future - just remember to LEARN from it.

Yes, it sets us free but timing is everything. You have to know the right time before you tell the truth.

Not always. When my ex told me he cheated on him I cut him loose, so in a sense he was free, but his TV wasn't from my softball bat!
