In science today my teacher was saying that new studies have shown that the youngest male child in a family is more likely to be gay. This is because whilst pregnant, a woman produces a large amount of testosterone to the brain of the male baby but studies have shown that each pregnancy finds the woman producing less testosterone to the males brain and therefore not giving it its "masculinity". This has only been shown/proven for male homosexuality not female. So, do you think it is a result of nature or nurture?

They always forget about gender nonconformity, never include it.in there studies. So the study is junk. Not all children with a gender nonconformity will become gay.

I do believe it's not a choice but I don't agree with that explaination, maybe in limited cases but certainly not most. I have several friends who are the youngest and male and they are very much not. One was an accident years and years after his 4 siblings and he's a normal hetero. It may have to do with testosterone production but I don't think that explaination works for the whole.

Perhaps you ought to ask your teacher to provide proof of this research and its conclusions because it sounds like a bunch of hooey to me. Many, many studies have been done regarding testosterone levels in both straight and gay men and they are all in conflict with each other, thus; are as a whole, inconclusive. Sounds like your teacher has an agenda, and it's not a sound one.
You may want to investigate genetics instead and by all means, question authority!!!

Yes the sexuality of a baby can be determined while he/she is in the womb.According to the holy Qur'an,God created a baby and has a soul completely after woman pregnant 4 months and 10 days.In the first stage is only a dot of blood and second stage become a meat and after third stage God gives bones and soul.So after 4 months and 10 days we will know whethet the baby is a male or a female by USG .God determined the male or female.,when will be born and when will die, his/her spouse and his/her subsistence..

One major flaw with this theory is that "youngest male child" when child is in womb what factor decide that he is youngest and not going to have another brother? So, this move from biology to destiny now!

Any study can be skewed to its founder's liking. This is such a highly debated area. Regardless of the results...gay is gay. a person is a person. Love them for who they are. Embrace the human.
