need to help a child with home work (year 6 primary) place Hypothesis in a sentence? help! Quickly!!!

A hypothesis is a tentative statement that proposes a possible explanation to some phenomenon or event.

"Children need a teacher in the room, even if they are getting their material from a computer." This is the hypothesis.

From here, the child researches to find material that supports this hypothesis. It then becomes a 'thesis'.

Tom was swimming in the river when all of a sudden a hypothesis surfaced right in frint of him. It was impossible to say whom was more surprised Tom or the Hypothesis! Tom screamed "a Hypothesis, a Hypothesis!!!!." This frightened the Hypothesis so much that he or she (Tom didn't know) opened its gigantic jaws and burped right in Tom's face. This was the worst smelling and loudest burp Tom had ever smelled and heard. You get the idea..................................
