IT'S PURE GRADE A FLAVOR B.S.
There is no such thing as "to get the carbon out," and all they are doing is taking years off the life of your car and engine. GET THEM AWAY FROM YOUR CAR. They are putting unnecessary wear and tear on your brakes, carburator, transmission, shocks and struts, and your exhaust system.
I've known people like that - and they can't keep a car in running condition for more than ONE YEAR. Don't let them drive - better if they never get in the car at all, but that's your choice.

I don't think it's ever nice to abuse someone else's car. I let my brother borrow mine and he left it a mess, broke the horn, and I know drove like a maniac.

You may think its strange, but its true! City driving does do a lot of damage to our cars, you need to go out on the freeway every now and then and put foot!

My car is MINE - he's sacred - I get the carbon out myself.
There are very few people I'd lend him to anyway
