Personally I never did like death metal. The stuff I heard was unintelligible and uncreative.
From a music business stand point, it has a very limited audience in the United States and isolates itself from the majority of listeners so it will never be widely accepted.
I like Ministry, Butthole Surfers, KMFDM, Rob Zombie amoung others.

I'll tell you from a musicians perspective that the talent is there buddy ,and in saying that I mean that its a lot harder to play this style of music than Rock & Roll. I've played bass 4 - 15 years and I grew up on classic rock but I lika thea Death Metel it was more challeging for me to play than any other style and they should get the respect that they deserve ,I'm sick of people saying that its all devel wurshipe and they don't know anything about it .I admite it that some of it is ,but not all
And dude they play insterments,unlike rap

i don't hate it. i appreciate their artisitc efforts to express their creativity. all musicians are striving therefore i have no right to judge other genres because of difference in taste. i personally can not relate to this kind of music because i can't understand it--most people make fun of music they can't relate to. its fun to make fun of music that we don't like. we don't like a certain type because it doesn't hit home and we find ourselves too good for it. some can get pretty annoying and are manufactured for selling but its still the same notes coming out of the chords.my favorite band is up dharma down...funk, soul, acid jazz and rock rolled into one.

I love it. It was kinda hard to get into but now that ive ben listening to it for some years now it is one of my favorite genres.

i dont know. its too late to think...... i guess i think they are a little to loud for me. i need a band where they dont scream constantly...... but i have friends who like it, so i dont really care.

when i was a teenager i luved that stuff it kicked but, it still does but i am more of a tool and the mars volta fan now. but i can tell you that some of my favorites were: POSSESSED,KREATOR,DEATH,EARLY SLAYER,AT WAR,SODOM,BLOODFEAST,CARNIVORE,THE LIST GOES ON........................

death metal is awsome.....but only for it to wake you up........put it on the loud button and then whoosh!!!!! you wake up....so yeah....um.....favorite? i dunno
