I can't believe no one has answered this question. I don't know much about UPS but my husband works for FedEx and used to be a handler, so I'll take a shot...

Generally speaking you should wear to an interview clothes that are one step dressier than you would wear on the job. So if you wear a uniform or a t-shirt and jeans on the job, you should wear pants and a nice shirt to the interview. Maybe "business casual". A tie might be good, but a suit is probably overkill. I would not wear a hat.

I'm guessing that a package handler is an entry-level position at UPS, and they hire a lot of them. I'll bet the interview is not very long and the jobs are not that hard to get. You may have to take some tests or pass a background check. How easy or hard it is to get the job is probably related to how many people they need to hire vs. how many people are applying at the same time as you.

To prepare for the interview, think about the job requirements. If hired, UPS will want you to show up on time, follow directions, communicate clearly, work hard, lift heavy boxes, and be able to sort packages quickly. So show up on time for the interview, do what they tell you, answer the questions they ask, speak clearly, and sit up straight. Act like you have a good work ethic. Practice a firm handshake and make eye contact. Be able to answer the question, "why do you want to work for UPS".

Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

Just dress in some casual slacks with a polo shirt. You don't have to tuck it in if you don't want to. PS Remember no cell phones, pagers or personel items. No jewerly or anything of that nature. Wear sturdy shoes and be sure to be there atleast 10 mins early. Shave and shower also Good Luck
