Yes it does, if it ever was love in the first place. Or else it's our perception of what love is changes. We realize we aren't getting what we wanted out of a relationship or there are too many unmet goals in a marriage. So one or both people make plans to leave. That's why I don't do relationships any more. Love is for the young ones that don't know any better. I know better. Love is nothing but smoke and mirrors, a magicians illusion.

Yes. There are also different types of love, it evolves, it changes with age, it changes in functionality, it changes for better, it changes for worse. It becomes a memory of how we thought it was and should be now. It is fleeting and elusive. It is believed often not to truly exist at all. It can be overrated or underrated. It is complex and simple. It is an enigma and sometimes very simple and easily understood. It is alot of things and exists in many forms even by each person it changes by moment and function. Often it changes as it becomes useless or paramount. Love, love, love. It is what we choose it to be and what it sometimes chooses us to be.

Yes! But it does depend on what type of love...
Perhaps love for your child may not change, but it may change towards your spouse....
