How to dress for an 80's themed party?

I'm going to an 80's themed party this weekend and would like suggestions of how to dress. What's something easy that I could still find now to buy and that isnt to expensive, but if someone could totally be able to tell I was dressing 80's?

hmm... find all the retro stuff. lol
recently there's an outburst of vintage dresses. these vintage dresses come from all the way from 60s to 80s. so very in for these 80s theme party. if u're the cute kind, wear plastic hairband altho i strongly recommend those cloth headband with a little dangle on the side. i think a black and white would be best on the safest. but go ahead and try to be daring. then for accessories get the long necklaces, preferably plastic. and thick bracelets that you wear all the way to your upper arm. patent pumps. as for make up go heavy on eyeliner. and paler colours for makeup. too wild or bright colours can do to if u can match it with the dress. for bags i would have to say i'm not to sure. LOL. u can actually reference to numerous mags as they will provide more advice. dunno if my ans helped. LOL. cuz this is my own opinion. good luck!

You need a dress with BIG shoulder pads. Just look at some of the old tv shows Dallas, Falcon Crest, Dynasty

we had our family day and its theme was 80's..i wore brown legging ..t-shrt dress brown..big belt polka dots..flats..colorful mini skirt...then tie your hair sideways..or buy a polka-dot dress..and wear high-heeled shoes
