Yes . 2.0 Ghz but .....
... a higher internal clock on a CPU doesn't mean it processes data more efficiently.

Think of it this way .... you have 5000 pizzas to deliver.
You can use a Honda Civic that does 100mph or a flatbed truck that does 50mph.

Which one will do the job quicker .....
See my point ?
Too many people confuse clock speed with overall performance.
It depends on the CPUs registers & how much data they can process in each clock cycle.

Do not use this number to compare processors ... it depends on the model & achitecture of the processor... not just the clock speed.

the thanks to perceive an AMD's processing potential is in its call. The 3800+ means that it has a similar performance potential as an Intel 3.8 GHz processor. I consider the reply above that announces you ought to judge a video card if youre going to be appearing some gaming. I at present have an HP with the AMD 4200+ & 2GB RAM, and that i play a pastime that calls for a a million.5GHz & 512MB RAM and not using a video card (using the onboard pictures chipset). It runs with out any worry, yet Im heavily pondering a PCI exhibit video card improve for more moderen video games.
