Are you talking about not having sex at all?
If you mean that can you do something else rather than have sex, I would have to say no. There is no substitute sex. As much "civilized" or "evolved" as we arrogant humans would like to think that we are, having sex, being in a long lasting, personal relationship, being intimate with someone, and knowing that there is someone out there who cares for you and is committed to you no matter what, is still a primeval craving built-in.
One can definitely repress it. You can just be abstinent all of you life and not ever have any sex at all but you would simply be a lot happier and satisfied with life if you do.
In fact, I would go as far as saying that denying yourself such a relationship is unnatural and self-abuse. You are simply as human.
Remember, I am not talking about simply "physical sex" where morning means goodbye. Sex has a huge emotional component as well. Don't ignore it!
If you are talking about illicit sex such as sex before marriage, then I agree with the marriage answer. One should definitely be abstinent and patient until marriage. I would rather not throw myself at the first bed-warmer that comes along and I don't want a bed-warmer either who I know if I refuse, would simply go to the next bed. Such illicit sex, sex before marriage, and sex outside marriage, destroys entire societies. It starts from the very small unit of one family, one household. But if everyone is doing it, society just falls apart.
It is amazing how weak minded some people can be. They will sacrifice everything just for five minutes of pure physical (not even emotional) pleasure.
Just save yourself for that special someone. You will NOT regret it. And sex is one of those things that gets better with age.

These people are anti-life. If everyone was gay, the entire human race would cease to exist. How could anyone support this? This is one thing I will never understand. It has nothing at all to do with God, or rules, or fear, or brainwashing....it simply would not work. Period.

yes, there is a substitute to sex, if you don,t want sex you can join the social service and many other profession. you are not single one
that finding substitude, many example are in world that pepole not married in there life and not do sex but they are famous and success ful.
