I have an appointment with my doctor at the end of the week, but in the meantime I would like to get some opinions on this before hand. For the last couple of days I have been waiting to see when I would be ovulating it is now coming to the end of my cycle and all the opk's have come back negative. I thought I ovulated later in my cycle. For the last few days I have been extremely fatigued, there are very visible blue veins on my chest and my nipples are super sensitive. I have been getting headaches everyday. This is not me getting my hopes up for pregnancy because me and my husband are newlyweds and just started trying. I haven't been on birth control in quite some time (about 2 years) anyone have ideas as to what could be going on

The symptoms you are describing are those or early pregnancy. Did you have a "normal" period last month? Since your ovualtions is late in your cycle you might have conceievd last month which would mean you would not be ovulating this month which would be why you are neg on opks. Have you taken a preg test? I think it would be worth a try. Good Luck.

Sounds hopeful! One thing that I noticed right away when I got pregnant was a severe drop in the amount of vaginal lubrication - I got very dry almost right away. I know now that this is normal (for me, at least!) I have been pregnant three times - lost the first one, the second is six months old now and an utter joy, and I think I am about five weeks pg now. Best of luck to you - my husband and I had to try for years, with surgeries and tests and injections to numerous to count, and I was 39 when Ambler was finally born. But well worth the wait!

Cheers,

Samlet

Have you tried taking a pregnancy test? It is possible if you ovulate late in the month, possible right before your period. If not let you doctor know what's going on and he can schedule a blood test. It is also possible you do not ovulate at all or it's irregular, which is treatable so don't worry just yet. My appt is tomorrow for fertility drugs so I know what it's like to just be starting the process. Good Luck and God Bless.

I have know some women who had to wait 5yrs. to get pregnant after being on birth control tablets. Just be patient, I know that this is hard if you want a baby so bad, but when you least expect it, it will happen. Don't get yourself up tight about it yet as sometimes you can try too hard.
