Do you know a foreign language? If not, I would stick with the English speaking countries for consideration. I studied abroad in Scotland--it changed my life. I had culture shock even in an English speaking country for a year, so I can't imagine what it would be like to not know the language. Scotland's people were very cool and super intelligent (compared to most Americans). I went to the University of Dundee on the east coast of central scotland. It was a fairly small school. The students were very hospitable, and I made great friends for life. The Irish seem to be really amiable also. It was very safe there (in Dundee) as well, more so than in the major cities in England. If you feel the need to get out of here, definitely go for it. It is totally amazing.

It depends on where "here" is, and where is "abroad". Are you in the USA? Britain? another country?

What would you study abroad? What subject are you interested in? It depends on the field where the best schools for you might be.

What languages do you speak? That might make a huge difference in your choices of a country to study in.

You must make certain that you can transfer this degree to work in another country as well. Will you stay outside of your country and seek to work outside as well? You will find different laws in different countries about work permits of citizens of another country. The fact that you have a student visa to study in one country does not mean you will be allowed to live permanently in that country and get a job there after you graduate.Laws differ greatly from one country to another.

If ur country's weather is cold then go to a hot one or if its hot, then go to a cold one. If its both, then its up to you to know which one u prefer better, hot or cold. I live in a tropical island and its mostly warm here, so I've made up my mind to go and study in England as its cold here, for me it will be a change in environment and relaxing.
But its not only the weather that counts, but also the facilities and which type of place you'd like.
If ur country is cold, then go and study in Australia, if its hot, then go to study in England or France, If you live in the Eastern part and has got bored with it then go to U.S.A and if u live in the Western part then go to India.
I've named u the country that are well reputated for their high quality of studies and they have the best universities, not that other countries do not have but I much prefer theses ones!

Queensland, Australia. We are very laid back and relaxed. It's sunny and warm. Beaches up and down the coast with lots of beautiful islands to explore.
