Will Radical Islam ever take over America?

Just when I thought our country was too liberal, it may become too far to the right. I'd better be careful what I wish for.

I know I'm jumping from A to Z here, but I've noticed that it's starting to take over Europe, and all of Europe's problems eventually spread over to America.

Oh christ it's a hypothetical question; calm down.

I backpacked Europe last year for two months and I was shocked to see the number of Muslims flooding every country, especially Western Europe. France is really taking a hit by the muslims. Think of what could happen. I mean, a country with so much culture and history, all being taken over by a group of people in a few years.
Could that ever happen here in the states? No. I don't think I'm a fascist when I say that we have the greatest military and the best technology in the world. We may not use them in the greatest way all of the time, but if we ever come under attack and point all of our weapons in one direction, no one can stop us.
Our liberty gives us a great advantage over those radical muslims. We understand the true value of freedom and democracy. If it ever was at risk, just imagine how you would react. Do you remember WWII? Do you remember the heroic stories? This is what happens when you gave someone liberty and then try to take it away from them.
No God loving Christian American would give in to such a cause. America will prevail and if they ship them here, they will be forced to conform or pay the price.
People like Remix Edition is what makes this country so great though, because you always have the soft side that makes rational decisions, and then you have the "No Bull@#**" guys that will stop at nothing to stop these folks. When you mix them, you get the brains and the muscle. A perfect combination!

The muslims in Europe are not radical. Many are just muslims. Some, especially in France are turning into secularists like the rest of their fellow countrymen. They are still in the minority in all the other countries. France has a muslim population of 10%, thats the highest number in EU.

This didn't happen over night. While the US was obsessed of the USSR the muslim population of different european countries was growing slowly. Most are either second or third generation and are now trying to find their identity in society. They are the last remenants of a colonial past.

European countries are set up so as not to allow any religion to gain political influence over governments. We won't even allow mention of God in the EU constitution to ensure that.

The US has more to fear from Christian Fundamentalists trying to impose their views on the Supreme court and in government. Which seem to have a striking resemblence to Islamic fundamentalists, i.e Gay bashing, abortion, the rule of law according to the holy book.

Muslims are the new communists. Now we have something else to be afraid of. Just what your political leadership wants.
There's no doubt that radical Muslims are out to kill you and me but they don't have a chance. The problem is magnified so you'll be worried about it and not notice the real problems. It's a pattern that keeps coming around and all you people are too f'ing ignorant to see it.

Europe is an entirely different culture than America with completely different attitudes to immigrants. Radical Islam will NEVER take over America unless Bush lets in alot of Muslims from Iraq as part of a refugee program. Ooops, too late. He's doing that now. BTW, I'm more fearful of the Christian fascist taliban in this country than the muslims.

If government ever becomes a Theocracy in America it will be a Christian Theocracy not a Muslim one. You should hope that we can maintain a liberal democracy in America, because the more our country moves to the right the more fascist we become.

No they will not it is a false religion anyway! And even if the young puppy Obama gets in there he would not be strong enough for many reasons! First of all he is not Arabic and they will not respect him ever! they think it is a joke if a black man is an Islamic, but they will tolerate to a point, and given he is 50/50 that is even worse!
