It is always easier said than done. It is not ok for anyone to date as it is not fair and not 100% available for commitment to the dating parties. But there is an agreement between U and ur spouse, stay in separate homes, definitely also agree not to question each other's lifes. So it is really up to the person to date or not. No right and wrong, we all human beings. It hurts when marriage ends up separate. Definitely, not legal right if dating involving much more.....than simple dating. Try to resolve the stagnant 'separate' situation to lessen each other's pain and give each other a chance of freedom and open to trust.

Well of course that is if you and your separated spouse have called it quits definetly. Probably you want to know if it is ok to hurt the others feelings and would rather the other be the first to date than you. But really if you are actually asking is because you don't feel confortable yet to date and you should not because you are not ready to commit to a healthy relationship for yourself.

There are too many factors to look at to answer that question.
Do you have kids?
If so, are they your spouse's kids?
Do the kids live with you or your spouse?
Why risk a court battle by dating someone, while you are still married?
Don't date, keep things cool till your divorced.
If the other person knows the situation an likes you, they'll wait.

If you're seperated and living alone I wouldn't date till there were papers signed. Usually it causes a lot of trouble if you date while still married. (even if you live in seperate homes.)

Would your husband be asking this question I don't think so in fact I bet he has already be out a number of times.Of course he will deny this if you ask him.Go out and have a good time because if or when you get back with your husband all fun will be over.

Unless it's strictly a booty call, it wouldn't be fair to the other person. What happens if the marriage is repaired?
