what one is better, and faster/ i live in canada and we can't have the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution because the front bumper is not alound here unless you buy one to put on it i don't the price do u? and to get it from usa to canada cost money, so how much will i spend? but the Mitsubishi Lancer is alound here. so help me out.

Strait answer is buy a Evolution (Evo) and change the bumper. Many people will say the Evo is the best 4-cylinder engine car you can buy. But if you are thinking of buying a Lancer with regulation bumbers look for a Lancer Ralliart. I will explain the difference between the three.
Lancer ES (Base Model)

2.4L MIVEC engine (MIVEC means the engine's camshaft is designed to let the engine put out more power once the RPM's climb over about 3700 RPM)

Top speed claimed to be 145mph on long stretch
Lancer Evolution

You might wanna look into the regulations of the new concept Evo X car (now known as Concept X). The body style has been completely changed but has the same (slightly better) excelent performance as the earlier Evo's.

The Lancer Evolution is hands down a better car. It is also turbocharged and the modifications for this car supercede anything you can do with a Lancer, minus a full engine swap and conversion. I would take an Evo over an Sti any day of the week as well. They are also really reliable and pretty much track ready out of the gate, where as the sock Lancer is more of a glorified commuter car. If it's speed and performance you want, then get the Evo hands down

The 2006 is going to be the lightest by a good margin, roughly 200lbs or so, and has the proven engine in it for tuning. All EVO's from 2003-2007 are pretty much the same, just with some slight variations, and of course the MR getting a 6 speed. The 2008+ are also all the same. The benefit the 2008+ has is the TC-SST transmission, which offers far quicker shifts and can be driven as an automatic when you don't need to worry about changing gears. That's a great feature for someone who wants a fast car that you can drive every day in bumper to bumper traffic, or with kids in the car for those who would have a family. The new car also has a much better chassis, and is miles ahead of the VIII and IX models in terms of interior comfort and quality.

I am sorry you cannot get an Evo in Canada. The Evo is a lot more than a Lancer. The Evo has a 300hp turbocharged 4-cyl engine whereas the Lancer is a pretty standard four-door compact that is not thoroughly exciting.
The Evo is much better.

The Lancer EVO is much faster than the normal Lancer, it is also equiped with full sport accessories like tires, seats, breaks and aerodinamics, plus a supercharged engine that gets some 250 BHP. I'd buy an EVO if i were you and then modify it so that it fits canadian regulations.

the evo is a turbo version of the lancer. its a hell of a lot faster, with a better suspension, better handling. i wouldnt care if i had to pay more to get the front bumper. why dont you just go to a dealer along the border of the states and buy one there and just drive it home? that would be easier than having to get a lame *** lancer, or having to shell out money for a bumper

The Evo is a Lancer, but a better version basically. So obviously the evo is the better version, faster, along with cost though

The evo faster than the standard Lancer. The Evo has the 4G63 engine that used to be the trademark of the Eclipse. It is all wheel drive and a blast to drive. They are just a little bit too expensive for me.

Evolution is the top lancer model and is much faster, if going for all out speed stick with evolution and spend the money to outfit it for canada, check out ralliart model if dont need as fast, very quick car for normally aspirated model
