signs of a urinary tract infection include urgency (have to go..now) painful urination, frequency, lower back pain, fever, strong smelling urine.
itching isnt a major one, but can be associated with it...sounds like a yeast infection but you should be tested just in case, in any case go to a physician for a diagnoses, itchiness is a symptom of other problems other than yeast...just in case...be safe

I agree yeast infection. When my daughter had a urinary tract infection she had alot of stomache aches. Yeast infection not only itches but turns your discharge to a different texture, color or smell. There are good over the counter creams that heal it up right away. Ask any pharmacist.

Bacterial Vaginosis is also a common issue, and Monistat won't help. You can get a prescrip for Metrogel and it'll clear up.
