tundra or desert?

which do you think would be better to live in? a very flat frozen land or the desert?

I'd go for the Tundra flat out... True, it's as tough as living in the Desert, but atleast there won't be any shortage of water and there aren't much dangerous insects waiting to snipe you...

i think they are boths very hard places to live
if you are not adjusted to it,and have means to survive.
i have seen some pictures from the gulag,where
the permafrost is melting down,becouse of global warming, turning whole areas into mudbaths,and making live very difficult for people who live there.
i think the dessert would be my choice.
