How ignorant can you be? Get some facts on what happened. I know people who saw the plane crash into the Pentagon, my friend's step-father was the co-pilot for one of the planes that hit the WTC. Roosevelt didn't know the Japanese would attack either. The U.S. didn't want to get involved in WWII for a reason. Find out why and you get a cookie.

Don't forget Operation Northwoods that was written by the Pentagon to do the exact same thing that the pilots did on 9/11 and blame it on Cuba. Obviously, they weren't going to ram planes into the trade towers because they didn't exist in 1962, but the idea was the same.

BTW, I don't believe our government perpetrated 9/11. I really do think Islamic extremists hate us. But I do think there is enough coincidental evidence stacked up to warrent an congressional investigation. And, I would never rule out the idea that GWB and Cheney are perfectly capable and willing to do something like this if it completes their agenda.

it was sort of an excuse to let the neo conservatives run the country and pass the patriot act, islamic terrorists were involved, something like 19 of them had major visa problems but were still allowed into the country without any questions.
