Who is the owner of INTERNET?

I am wonder that who is managing the INTERNET compnay all over the world, so anyone will please tell me who is the owner of INTERNET company?

There are thousands and thousands of owners. Whoever owns a server that open for others to connect to owns parts of the internet. It is not just one person. The internet is just a portal from one server to another. Kinda like time travel..
Figure a phone service or electric company.. There are hundreds of thousand of different companies that have phone services and electric services and they all work together if you call someone on a different service. If an electric service goes down they can contact a near by service to get juice from...

There is no "owner" of the internet.

The internet was developed by the military in the 80's as a defense tool. It opened up to the public in 93.

It is kind of like telephone lines. There are a lot of telephone companys. But the thing about the internet is that almost anyone can purchase a server, and "own" part of the internet.

The internet is SO HUGE that there could never possibly be on super computer, or server, or any certain "owner".

It's almost like the stock market, too. You can buy stocks, just like you can buy a server. But again, no particular owners.
