Are they acceptable to bring out in public or should they only be restricted to home use....

Well I use them primarily at home but on occasion, I like to whip mine out in public. Mine wears a hat. I am one of them. So are you. Coo Coo chachoo!!!

Take them discount shopping, share amusing stories with them about walking into security posts, keep one in the boot for when when you're feelin well dirty yourself.
Can't stop thinking of a semilona pilchard climbing up the Eiffel tower for some reason.

At rainy days the do have their baths and become Cleaner!!!
But the monkeys in the bunkers are dangerous indeed.
