after 2008 is when his team option comes into play
He'll be restricted and the team will try to extend him early
it's hard to get any free agents this day as the original team can always outbid any offers

Frankly I would like to see him as a Maverick. I bet he would like to play here because this is where he grew up. Actually a graduate of The Colony High School. We are a suburb of Dallas. Would love to be able to watch him play on a regular basis again.
