why are females called a whore when she's slept with a few men BUT when a guy does it he's hailed a hero?

Just wondering what everyones opinion is about this?

It is a double standard and it is wrong and dangerous for both sexes. It promotes the spread of diseases and turns women into objects to be obtained and discarded.

it's called double standard! you would think in the year 2007 people would be over this but no... In my opinion it just confirm that a lot of people are very insecure with their sexuality...sad indeed! In the social village we live in for a lot of them a woman is either a "whore" or a "virgin"...we still have a lot of growing up to do.
