It was a game show, I think it was Chuck Woolery, but I am not sure. I searched google and didn't get anywhere because "two" is such a common word.

Yes it was Chuck and he did Love Connection and he currently does Lingo where he says the same thing.

Chuck Woolery was the host of the game show Love connection that was on from1983- 1999.

You are correct--- It is Chuck Woolery--long time TV game host--
and the reference is to the timing of the "commercial breaks"
normally they are timed at two minutes for the actual commercials and two minutes dedicated to station and network promotion !! There is your two and two !!!
