ok,so I forgot my password for paypals,so I had to answer a question about my credit card .it said "the last numbers on the credit card are XX89? (this is an example).then it asked me for my credit card number, but when I typed it in it said it was wrong.

so my question is am I supposed to type in the whole number?or what numbers am I supposed to type in?am I supposed to put spaces?stuff like that.

I would be a little nervous about typing in my entire credit card number. Why not give Paypal a call or use their online help and ask them about it. Usually the "secret question" does NOT involve a credit card number and they should be able to send you your password if you give them your email address.

PAYPAL will NEVER ask you your card info.. EVER..
did you get an email from paypal saying you needed to sign in or something? If you did it is spam..
Paypal does mail you but not about that. There mail is very specific if they have to tell you something..
First of all your name will be on the mail. If you name is not in the mail then it is wrong.
If they ever did have to put in your credit numbers it would only be the last numbers or the first 3 or something like that but normally they don't ask. They would have emailed you your password or a new one so you could go change your old one.

with Paypal if you forget your password they will send you a link in your email and you get to choose what information you provide to reset your password. I would either do the security Questions or I would call them to have them reset the password. I dont think I would want to use my credit card number to verify myself. I personaly think that is stupid that they would use a credit card to verify someone. Good luck with it.

And to answer everyones question YES paypal uses your credit card to verify your who you say you are Sorry to disappoint some of you that say paypal doesnt ask you for your credit card

ok paypal will not ask you for your credit card number at all none of them. it will ask you to input your email address and some letters and numbers for security reasons not your letters or numbers. then it will tell you that it sent you an email with instructions on how to reset your password. be very careful if they are asking you for you credit card number. it is a scammmmmmmmmmm.

good luck

Don't do it. go herehttp://www.snapfiles.com/reviews/SIW/siw.html SIW is a standalone utility that has a wealth of info. Open the program, look to the menu on the left just above hardware, and you will find "secrets". click it and you will be amazed. I find my passwords with it a lot. That is a scam in my opinion.

nicely in case you recognize what it truly is that you're searching for then purely go on line, search for for the article that perfect matches you and bid until eventually you come across out once you've gained or no longer. Pay even as the bidding is over. trouble-free.
