For congestion relief, make a tea of fresh parsley, steep the parsley in hot water for a few minutes then sip tea slowly. Drink daily.
For breathing problems: eat something spicy, such as eating a chili pepper, whole garlic or gargle with tabasco sauce in a cup of water.
Onion cough syrup
Cook 4-5 large onions in a pot with 3/4 cup honey. Simmer for approx 1 1/2 hours-2 hours, strain. Take as often as needed for relief. Use warm.

For muscle aches you pretty much have to go for something like Tylenol or Advil. Not much in the Natural medicine cupboard for that. Once you get the cold there's lots of things you can do, but make sure that's what you've got and not something more serious.

You didn't say how old you are. If you're a teenager and are suffering from flu symptoms, do not take aspirin for it. Taking aspirin for the flu has been linked to a rare but serious disorder called Reye's syndrome. (Other than that, aspirin is very safe.)

increase your fluid, take a nice warm bath and take ADVIL, not tylenol! You just have to let the cold run its course, and pleas , stay home untill your done with the sneezing and fever. You don't want to invect your coworkers! Take care
