The prices are always outrageous during Valentine's Day...supply and demand I suppose. I find in the area I live in they are actually quite cheap most of the year. Oh well, luckily, there are plenty of other great things to give and receive for Valentine's Day.

Roses are ALWAYS an outrageous price, but they really jack up the price for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Yes I ordered my Mother-in-law roses for Valentines Day and had them delivered to her this year and they were on the expensive side but I didn't mind the price because I wanted to surprise her this year.

i got tulips,
that's all i ever ask for two lips!
tulips.
i never ask the price.
this is the first year that i didn't get them in a pot.
I got the entire dozen, and with the colder weather this year they are lovely.
prices always sky rocket at valentine's day, cuz of supply and demand.
Roses are too generic.
too easy.
go with tulips!
good question!

Sent a dozen to my wife. I'm always appalled at the prices of flowers, but I guess they got to make a livin' too.
