I've never heard Chauncey Billups called Mr. Big Shot. If that's a nickname it's not a very widely used nickname. And I can only think of one game he ever made a big shot and that was a playoff game the year the Pistons won the championship when he forced overtime and in the same game double overtime.
Kobe by far is the most dangerous weapon to take a final shot. Everyone and there mother knows he's going to get the ball and the defenses still can't stop him.
I like the choices of Arenas, Nowitzki, Wade, and not yet mentioned Tracy McGrady who has shown a propensity for hitting big threes late in games the last two seasons with the Rockets.

Kobe, Kobe, Kobe. Alright enough of him, he has missed more buzzer beaters than any "clutch" shooter I have ever seen. Give the ball to someone that has the experience and has a high field goal percentage, someone that isn't just going to throw it up. 5 secs a person can run most of the court in that time. Okur seems to be getting the job done lately, but if I had to go on stats Elton Brand, he is shooting high in now and he has the experience.

This is a tough question - i have watched a lot of Laker games this year, as well as, Suns and Mavs. I would have to say that my choice came down to Dirk or Kobe. Ya Dirk probably isnt a favorite here but he is pretty remarkable downt he stretch this year and for this reason i would have to take Nowitski because he is more versatile can shoot the 3 or drive the lane....hes harder to cover than Kobe and if he is fouled is a better free throw shooter.

KOBE why? its simple kobe is the best (current player) at hitting that buzzer beater, he has so many weapons in his arsenal and he can create his own shot with ease
honorable mentions
gilbert arenas - he's good but kobe is better
allen iverson - he's a veteran but his jumpshot isnt really reliable (and most buzzer beaters are jumpshots)
t mac - he's hit his own share of buzzer beaters (and can create his own shot)
melo anthony - he can take it close and finish near the rim
d wade - gets close to the rim and finishes
lebron - gets to the rim then passes away to an open team mate..

kobe is a good choice, then again so is wade, and arenas, and allen, and nash - really there are quite a few players in the league that seem to come up with the clutch shots more often that not - but my choice is Mr. Big Shot himself - Chauncey Billups - he has not only averaged awesome numbers on an amazingly balanced team for the past few years, but he has guided them to at least the Eastern conference championship in the past 4

My first choice is Chauncey Billups. Why? The dude's nickname is Mr. Big Shot! Second choice is Vince Carter. Did you see his half-court, game-winning, double-teamed, buzzer against the Jazz?
