I'm in the need of new glasses. Everytime I get new glasses I think I have picked the perfect pair but after a couple of days I hate them and I'd rather not wear them again. I find that I buy the wrong shape or that the glasses aren't fashionable enough. I want to know what spectacles are in fashion at the moment and what shape would suit a square shape face best.

I work for ophthalmology office, which also includes an optical shop, with qualified optometrist's staffing it. A good optical shop would be able to help you find the perfect eye glasses to not only fit you personality, but your face shape and skin tone as well. It is important that your glasses balance with your face shape and width between your eyes. Another thing to consider is purchasing 2 pairs of glasses, one on the conservative side, and another for your more out going side. Most of us do have different ways we dress depending on what we are doing or where we are going, think of your glasses as a fashion accessory. Most optical shops will offer a substantial discount for multiple orders. I personally own a pair of inexpensive glasses for just at home, a pair of wireless glasses for my *conservative* days, a pair of bright blue wild frames for my *i want to shock you* mood, a pair of prescription sun glasses, and contacts. I know that this seems overboard, but I get a discount so it works for me. Point is.....make the optical shop work with you until you are very sure of your purchase, and if you feel rushed, or are not getting assistance that you feel is right for you....shop elsewhere...it is a huge investment and you should feel good about it. And consider that second pair, you won't regret it. Good Luck!

I actually have thick framed icy eyewear frames. i come upon them fairly comfotable and would no longer regularly be conscious they are there. they re black in coolour specifically because they bypass with some thing.

oval glasses with tortoise frames if you have dark eyes..or wire.
