It seems every day we hear stories about how "Muslims are offended". Are they THAT thin-skinned?
I did a Google search for "muslims are offended" and it returned 16,300 hits

For comparison purposes, I did a Google search for "christians are offended" and it returned only 669 hits
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22christians+are+offended%22
Googled "jews are offended" - 285 hits
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22jews+are+offended%22
I'll tell you what offends me: Islam

3000+ dead Americans offends the hell out of me. Cartoons - not so much.

I don't think it's just Muslims...-It seems EVERYBODY is kinda "touchy" these days! I mean, like- What's the problem out there-people?!! Long johns in a bunch- or something?! Get a grip! If we're all so thin-skinned & thick-headed that we can't take alittle stress or criticism- I'm all FOR a little "attitude adjustment" by whatever it takes to get the message acrossed! Maybe we all NEED a nice world wide Pandemic to come along & indiscriminately wipe out a few million people- to show people what's REALLY important! Life is short, & can change on a dime. Whining about being "offended"- doesn't cut it.

Th Judeo-Christian attitude is to turn the other cheek when offended.
The Muslim sentiment has a greater than marginal propensity to killing as many innocent civilians as possible.
Christians getting offended rarely makes the papers.
Muslims being offended comes with a body count.

Because they are arseholes that think they are ALWAYS right. They have 0...read it...0 tolerance for any thing except their own radical views. They believe that everyone who is not Muslim should be converted or die. People like to say that the Muslim religion is not the same as the radical views, but I beg to differ. Muhammad preached violence and slaughter. If they didn't have a truly evil religion how can anyone explain the fact that in Islamic countries it is the LAW to kill your innocent family member for being raped. They are evil sick arseholes who don't give a crap about human life. Not even their own.

IF you look at the past oh eight years well, if I were one of the brothers, and I mean brothers well I would take serious offense at what has been a demonstrable act of inhumanity. Ethnic cleansing, call it what you will these people did not deserve what the Bush Administration has done. No I am not trying to make a statement it is a fact....What Jew, what Muslim who would wish this on his fellow man need not call himself a Jew or a Muslim, or man of any sort. Any man who could commit such an act deserves equal. Muslims are not to be feared as a people but the men who perpetrate evil should be seriously feared, and for those who sow fear then they will live the rest of their lives in fear of their own end, and you can see the fear on their faces my friend. I saw it today. Muslims skin is the same as yours.

I agree wholheartedly!!!! 1000 percent! Thank you!!! Isn't it strange how they say we are immoral (Hollywood is, not the REAL Americans), in matters of sex and such, so let me see...killing 3000 people is NOT immoral!!! And the motivation was to bed down 72 virgins??? Somebody pleeeze help me!

It frees them to do things that they know they shouldnt in "retaliation". It's an act. However, I am offended by their actions. They have offended our mutual God and have become an abomination in their plastic principals and scriptural legalization.

All religion offends me. They all wish to dictate their dogma upon the entire world and all support a violent means to the end.
I speak mostly of the Abrahamic religions. Buddhists and Hindus, in general, are much more spiritually evolved.
