Bye the end of his career, he will be one of the GOAT's (greates of all time) but he doesn't get the recognation he deserves.... a 6th round draft pick number 100 overall and leads his team to 3 super bowls in 4 years.... an AFC championship this year, and with what? name a super star reviever he has.... the running game isn't great either, but it is improving.... But i can see brady getting 1 more ring, but if he's lucky he'll get 2..... He is a great QB, and Statistic wise and Super Bowl wise will be the greatest of all time when he retires

Brady won three SB's by a total of 13 points and Montana won 4 by a total of 76.
Let's look at the stats
Brady in 3 SB's
735 yds, 6 td's 1 INT
Montana in 4
1142 yds, 11td's ZERO int's
It's Montana all the way. It's safe to say that if Brady didn't have Vinatieri, he might not even have 3 wins because the games were so close. Joe blew people out so bad, the 9ers threw in his backup (Steve Young) in Super Bowl 24!
Brady will not go down as the greatest of all time, because I don't know if you've noticed, but the Pats are on a steady decline. Remember they used to have home field locked throughout the playoffs on a regualr basis. Now they're the #4 seed going into the playoffs. Every year, they lose another piece. Started with Ty Law, then Deion Branch, then Vinatieri. I think Brady's seen his best days.

Brady was never as good as Montana and this loss doesn't change that. He could have won the game and still wouldn't have been as good, but you would have never known it because the Superbowl wins hide MAJOR deficiencies in his game: - He is immobile. Both Joe and Steve would have avoided that pass rush better: not completely, but just better. - He relies too heavily on his defense to bail him out. If Samuel had just come up with that pick, the game is over and Brady would have been credited with the win. Even the Giants know better than to give credit to Manning alone. They saw this as a team game. - Brady has never been a true comeback king. The best he has ever done under two minutes is break a tie. Montana did it during every stage in his career and has some of the most memorable game winners in NFL history. Brady has NEVER proven he can win on a last drive when his team is behind. - Montana was a better all-around quarterback. When ESPN2 was showing highlights all weekend, it was so obvious that Montana took over games. His last three Superbowls were just on a whole other level and it's time to recognize just how dominant he was. Brady looked incredibly stifled during this last Superbowl and he looked almost the same way during his first SB victory. He won three Superbowls by a total of 9 points. Joe's margin of victory in his last game was 5 times that. And finally, from this moment, he will no longer be able to say that he's undefeated in Superbowls, never turned the ball over in Superbowls, and that he's the master of the comeback. And I'm saying this as someone who likes watching Brady play and think he's in an offense that suits his talents perfectly. But for once, let's just be realistic about his accomplishments.

Obviously the measure of a QB isn't about rings or people wouldn't still talk about Dan Marino.
With that being said, I wonder how much of Brady's success is being a good QB or the system that he plays in? Plus, through those championships Brady has had an O-Line that could stop a freight train as well as rules that keep a QB safer then a kid in a carseat riding in the backseat of a Volvo. Montana had Jerry Rice.
I'd have to go with Joe Montana.
And if we want to talk about Super Bowls, he was the first ever to win Super Bowl MVP 3 times (to my knowledge he's the only one) and has the 4th highest passer rating of all time with 92.3. He also has 4 Super Bowl rings and has never thrown an interception in a Super Bowl appearance. Oh and did I mention he pretty much set the bar for the West Coast Offense as we know it?

Is this a joke? Really? Greatest of all time? You are out of your mind! First off, Jerry Rice was on 2 of his four superbowl teams. His best reciever on the first two was Dwight Clark. Remember him? No one really does. Joe Montana was clutch, and the greatest big game quarterback of all time. Yes Tom Brady is a great big game quarter back. But the Patriots success has always been measured as a team, not Tom Brady carrying them. And you said he will surpass every QB in rings... um... you are proclaiming the Patriots will keep winning championships. We have to see it. And remember, Brady's last play of the season was a game ending interception.
Let me show my colors and locale. Us Yankee fans said the same thing about Jeter. As a matter of fact, the parallels between the two are stunning. But it hasnt materialized. So until it happens, I would, and will take Joe Montana over Brady six days from Sunday.

I am the big fan of New England Patriots and im gonna have to say Tom Brady of course lol but he needs to have that shoulder of his to relaxe cuz he always on the injured list in every game but still plays but he will mess his arm up if he dont do anything about it and yes he has 3 sb rings but should had 4 for this past season but oh well but he is GOOD QB but not the BEST any team in in NFL or COLLEGE is not the BEST they are GOOD team because of the TEAMWORK not just the player

I dunno about the best of all time but he is definitely in the mold of Montana. Being a 49ers fan its hard to put him in front of Montana. You have to realize Montana won his first to Super Bowls with out Rice (1981&1984 Rice was a rookie in 1985). Brady did have good, not great, recivers for all his Super Bowl runs. Honestly right now I would make Brady a 9.5/10 and Montana a 10/10

It's too bad Belichik didn't go back to the Browns when They re-entered the League in 2000.The Dawg pound would have a couple of Rings by now. WITH OR WITHOUT BRADY.Brady's surrounded by a great team. Put Brady or Montana in Houston or detroit and watch them both choke their chickens sensless.SAVY?

First, the Patriots ARE my favorite team...but I think Brady has to win at least one more Super Bowl (and actually, I expect he will win a FEW more), to be considered the best of all time...Joe Montana is the best of all time now...By the way, he won his first Super Bowl in '82...Rice wasn't around until '85...
