Tis better to debate a problem without solution than to reach a solution without debate.
The outcome is argument/disagreement where consensus does not exist

The tone. Abrasive arguments disregard points of commonality toward purely opposite, defensive positions. Constructive arguments acknowledge other points of view but offer a better support for a line of reasoning.

an argument is when people have different views on a subject with elevated emotions unable to control themselves,a disagreement is different points of view respecting the other persons right to there thoughts on any given subject
