Because the work they do generates hundreds of millions of dollars for the movie industry. So, they get paid alot, but the money that is made off of them is infinitely more.

Hi,

Well this is how it works..

A certain group.. lets call them "Joes" own a lot of industries.. they need to manipulate society however so we buy their rubbish.. so they use pop stars and movie stars for this..

They're all in on it!!!

The Joes.. use the same actors and singers to continually promote their crap.. like expensive fashions.. by using people like Brittany Spiers or Paris Hilton.. who they can easily control.. they can promote on a mass level some dodgy expensive and overpriced product.. and will sell it using the stars face .. the stars are paid a small percentage which still amounts to many millions..

The star gets rich.. the Joes gain more and more control and power over societies minds.. and hence continue to influence out stupid and highly ignorant buying habits..

Most of the work the stars do.. is limited to looking or acting out a part.. unbeknown to them however there is often many other agendas being served.. the actors are often paid a lot of money.. to simply shut up and do what they're told.. even if they know its wrong and highly immoral.. to the Joes.. the only thing that matters is MONEY and SALES!!

Stars are essentially the most immoral people on the planet.. besides George Bush and his friends.. I hope people stop watching TV.. and stop going to the cinemas.. turn off your radio.. and start organising your own local plays and music concerts.. I am now doing this in my own community and urge everyone to do the same.. I dont really care that these Joes are greedy and selfish.. and money hungry.. that's fine.. most of us dont need so much.. let them have it.. BUT my problem is they also rob genuinly talented kids of opportunities.. for this I will always hate these Joes. You should too!!

Join the boycott of commerical TV and radio.. get on the intenet.. the Joes dont make much money off it..

Does that help??

An hour and half movie takes about a year to film.
AND not all of them are rich.
Only the superstar actors and actresses are rich.
Sometimes they dont get paid as much money as it seems.
I sorta understand what you're saying, but it takes tons of training to have great acting skills, and it takes a lot of hard work to film a movie.
No offense, but they dont just make a movie overnight or anything!!!

Yes they do go to college! And you might think that acting or filming a movie is easy but its not!! it basically takes months or even a year to film a freaken movie. They also gey paid tons of money because the tv and productions have a lot of money. Its not easy for actors and actresses to get picked to film a movie, they have to go auditioning and then they have to wait for the call if they got picked. So buddy, its not easy for them too. Now, if you talk about singers, Thats whats not fair cos they dont even graduate!!

You answered your own question. Because, in addition to paying to see their movies, you want to talk about them. They play to a huge audience. The person that invented the Hoola Hoop made as much or more money than most celebs. A huge 'audience'. Most of the celebs are fine looking people, Doesn't it make you feel better to be in the 'company' of such people?
