No, I have not taken a pregnantcy test. I have asked my mother to get me one and she wants to wait more time, so that we do not waste money. If I am pregnant I believe that I am in my second trimester (17-18 weeks). I have had my period every month so far, but for the past two and a half weeks I have not been able to stop eating. I will not even be hungry, but yet I feel I must eat. My normal weight is 117, now I am 128. Most of my weight is going to my belly, below my belly button. I am unable to say if I have had morining sickness because my boyfriend died just one week after I believe I got pregnant (if I am), so I have been very destraught. I did feel like I could throw up, but that could be from the trama. The skin on my face has been very dry for the past week. Oh, yes and I have been having gas alot the past two weeks also. Please I would like to know if anyone could give me another reason other than pregnant, but if I am that is great, too.

For gods sake go see a doctor or get a test! They are only like $10 from the supermarket...

I'm no doctor but i highly doubt that your pregnant. for instance your period should have stopped once you became pregnant. Since you said you're in your second trimester then it would have been very weird for you to get your period. The over eating may actually be due to depression from the death of your boyfriend. Also the gas may be caused by the food your eating or varieties. Then the skin on your face being dry, well it is winter get some moisturizer. My overall guess is your just depressed and the overeating is just a mask for your sadness which is also most likely causing your weight gain.

This could sound gross, but have there been chunks in your period? If so, it's endometrium and that means you aren't pregnant. If not, you might just be having breakthrough bleeding inconveniently timed to seem like a period.
Stress makes me eat too, and weight goes to my lower adbomen first. The food you've been eating could be the cause of the gas as well. Have your breasts gotten sore? That tends to be an indicator or pregnancy as well [as well as growing larger, but that could be explained by the weight gain]. If they haven't, I would think it'd be unlikely that you're pregnant; most of your symptoms can be explained by the stress because of the loss of your boyfriend.
If you want to be absolutely sure, go to a doctor or a clinic [they often charge on a sliding scale based on what you can afford]. Store-bought pregnancy tests are more fallible than professionals.

Sounds like to me you are not pregnant. With all the eating. I will call that "emotional eating", you are trying to take care of the pain of your b/f death by eating it away. You are gaining weight in your belly because you are eating. You face is dry b/c it is winter time and you have probably been crying a lot-which dries out your skin. You have been having a lot of gas because you are eating all the time. I suggest getting some help to deal with with emotional pain you are going through. You may need to talk to your doctor about some medication to help with the depression. If you are having normal periods you are most likely not pregnant. I am sorry for your loss.

The compulsive eating could be caused by depression and the dry skin from a lack of a vitamin. If you are pregnant your skin should glow- radiate- shine. Your boobs would swell and your nipples tingle. And, although it has occurred, having your period regularly isn't common in pregnancies- that blood should be going to your baby's growth.
But, the only way to be sure is to see a doctor or get a pregnancy test.
If you're not pregnant then you should see a councillor for your overwhelming feelings after the loss of a loved one. And, by the tone of the question I'm guessing you're still in school, so you should see a school nurse or advisor there too.
Good luck either way.

How much longer does your mother want to wait???? If you are as far along as you think you might be then you would have been able to tell a very long time ago!!!! Go to a doctor or just run down to the shop now! As for anything else im not sure what that could be but if your not pregnant i still reccomend going to the doctor no matter what the outcome.

If your still having your period your most likely not pregnant. Eating a lot and gaining weight is probably from the stress of losing your boyfriend. If you want to take a pregnancy test just go to your local health department and tell them you are 2 weeks late on your period and they will give you a test for free if you are unable to pay for it. Good luck!!

It's possible the trauma of your boyfriend loss has caused you to have a phantom pregnancy. A ultrasound will definately show a baby after 6 weeks, but a blood test is cheaper and will confirm it definately.
Another possibility is polycystic ovarian syndrome. You have all the symptons. A hormone level check and an ultrasound will prove that theory as well as show if you are pregnant. I'm sorry about the death of your boyfriend. Check the below website for info about your ovaries.

WOW, first off i'm sorry to hear about your boyfriend. Personally I cant give you a yes or no, what you need to do is get to a doctor asap. You could be pregnant or it could be a sign of something else going on with your body. get your mom to take you to a doctor, they can help you. If you really want to wait and take a test i would suggest you do it now, they are only $1 at the dollor store. congrats if you are pregnant and if not i hope everything is ok.

You dont gain that quickly if youre pregnant. Most of the weight you gain, you gain the last two months. If you have regular periods, and you havent got it, then most likely you are. But the fastest way to find out is to take a home pregnancy test in the morning. If its negative and you still think your pregnant, you should visit your docotor.

Are your breasts sore at all? Are you so tired all the time that you can fall asleep standing up? Those are a few signs of pregnancy. The eating thing may be from depression from your bf's death....depression can cause a bunch of the symptoms you are having....another thing....is your face broken out with zits and pimples? that is another sign of pregnancy. Either way go see a doctor, that is the only way you will find out sweetie....good luck:) And sorry to hear about your bf.
