Wash with bleach solution if you can, depending on the surface material, then rinse with a boric acid solution, don't rinse the boric acid/water solution off, spray weekly with Lysol.

Get a spray bottle and fill half bleach and half warm water. Just squirt it and wait a minute or two. Then take a scrub brush and warm water and scrub it down. The bleach will not only clean it, but it will prevent it from returning so quickly.

i constantly have the same problem in my bathroom window because theres no exhaust vent. I have to keep them sprayed down with bleach water, sometimes that just doesnt do the trick...if the mold is in your paint then you have to sand off the old paint and repaint it..i know it stinks, but it always looks so much better afterwards

scrub your window sills with Clorox bleach...dry...then apply two coats of "Killz", it is a primer that does not allow moisture, mildew or bacteria to soak through then repaint....you won't have any more mold.
