To say who is the best is extemely hard. All are very good at different aspects of the game. Reigning MVP Steve Nash is the best offensive point guard in the game. His ability to find the open man and knock down jumpers all over the floor while devesate everyone with the pick and roll and penetrate is simply amazing there is no one like him. But he is a horrible defender and can't do anything else but prvide scoring and he has yet to win a championship. The old saying is defense wins championships and that's not Nash's game. D Wade is not quite the player Kobe or Nash is. Wade is a penetrator who loves to slash to the basket, draw fouls, and get easy buckets around the hoop. He is also very capable of hitting the mid range jumpshot but is not the player Nash or Kobe is. In my opinon, Kobe is the best player in the world and it's not even close. The most feared offensive one on one player in the game has 10 seasoned years of experience of dealing with double and triple teams and last year he showed how good of a scorer he is, 35.5 ppg, amazing. He has always been a first class defender making the All Nba defensive team but this year he has matured immensely. He is trusting and using his teammates and it's no conicidence that they are all having career years. Kobe can carry the load anyway possible and that's why he is the best player in the game.

I think Mr. Alba summed it up pretty nicely. Kobe Bryant is the best player in the league period! Being the MVP doesn't mean you are the best. It's a fact that the Suns can't function without Nash. Nash scores, passes and leads VERY WELL. That's all he can do! There is nothing that Kobe can't do on the court. And the NBA officials are in bed with Wade so that disqualifies him.

Kobe as of now overall. I can see Wade passing Kobe in the future tho.
Problem is your comparing guys with a little more then 10 yrs experience to a guy with a little more then 3...

Here's something to think about....
Wade his ROOKIE season(2003-2004) helped take the Heat to the 2nd round of the playoffs with Kobe's 2004-2005 teammates Lamar Odom, Caron Butler, and Brian Grant. The other starter that year for (heat) was Eddie Jones. Guess what Kobe did with those 3 starters on his team the 2004 season after the trade for Shaq? They didn't even make the playoffs. Wade did it with those men as I said, his rookie season... remember that.
This year Lakers are currently 3-1 WITHOUT Kobe, Heat 1-7 without Wade. So don't throw in the "bad team" excuse for Kobe.
And please shut up about Shaq and foul calls....
All you've ever seen is Wade with Shaq other then his rookie season, where he still went to the playoffs even without him. So how can you possibly say he needs Shaq? Same as people saying Kobe needs Shaq, which is just as ignorant.
As far as the fouls, Wade goes to the hoop probably more then anyone other than maybe AI and takes the contact. So more then likely he's going to draw a lot of fouls. The man literally sacrifices his body. Go look at Jordan's career stats too, he went to the line his first five years about the same if not more then Wade. Kobe actually went to the line more then Wade if you look at their totals last year(not avg). Wade (803) - Kobe (819).
Sick of always hearing the same stuff, with nothing to back it up. I also respect Kobe, and this is in no way of me saying I think he sucks. Just using these examples as a way to get a point across. So please give Wade some credit already, EVEN if you like Kobe better.

nicely, all 3 are guards, yet in elementary words kobe and wade are similar. Nash runs the offense, if he is going out then the passing stops. Kobe is an unstoppable danger offensively, and Dwayne is more desirable of a seize participant (he's taking on the game even as needed) So, i imagine that Kobe is the proper solo scorer in the leage(no longer that he's a ball hog, yet he can score on each and every occasion he needs to). and he can carry some protection too. Steve is the proper aspect guard because Stockton. He makes his teammates more desirable sensible and thanks to that, hes received the only top 2 MVP's and this 365 days. His stats are even more desirable sensible than very last. Wade is unique although. he can do all of it: score, pass, crash the forums, performs sturdy protection, and he makes the most no longer accessible photos I easily have ever considered look elementary. All 3 gamers are large of their personal top yet, Dwayne Wade is the proper All-round participant. he's the in elementary words participant out of the three that could want to somewhat take the ball frustrating to the rim for a dunk or layup than shoot an outdoors jumper. Nash is a shooter, and kobe can dunk it if he needs to, yet he shoots more desirable than drives down the lane.

The best? By far Kobe, he's the best player with a basket-ball in his hands. That being said, Steve Nash is the best team (because after all, it IS a team sport) player and you can see why the Suns are now struggling with him out of the lineup. D-Wade is underrated because everyone keeps looking at that 320-pounds monster named Shaquille O'neal but he's still not as good as Kobe or even T-Mac.

Considering basketball is a team sport without a question Nash, he is the one that helps support the Suns high powered offense, he deserves the MVP and I think he secured it by being injured, just look at the Suns without him 2-4 on the season and losing 3 streak to **** teams.
