Presently I have a Green terror along with a convict & some african cichlids, so can I add a flowerhorn(small one) with my present fish, will it live peacefully with the fish I have? Or if it cant I have a 30 g tank for it.
And other question if I buy a female flowerhorn will it get the horn (hump), I really dont like the horn so what should I feed the flowerhorn to avoid that?

Flower horn is a strict "no" "no" with any other fish, even green terror. As soon as the fh crosses its juvenile stage, it will terrorize the other fishes and probably kill them too.

The hump is the beauty of this fish, and its multiple color. If you do not like the dominant factor because of which the fish is so popular, why go for one ? If you buy a juvenile fh, you wont be able to guarantee that you are buying a female, you wont be able to distinguish between the sex until it grows up a little more, and maybe then it will be too late.

The flower horn will kill everything once it grows up. Most flower horns are very intollerant of anything else living and they're very tough fish. Regardless of tank size, its a bad idea to add one to a community tank. Horns are best kept to their own territory. 30G will hold a flowerhorn for a year or so, and then it will be completeley inapporpriate habitat for the fish. They get about as big as oscars.

The green terror & africans & convicts will coexist fine if the tank is large enough and as long as they all start out fairly well matched in size. I reccommend not having both sexes of convict in the tank. They can get superpowers when they mate & kill big things like the green terror.

Females don't get humps. Only the males. Its a secondary sex characteristic, kinda like big boobs on female humans or facial hair on men.

You definitely cannot add a flowerhorn to your community - flowerhorns are very intolerant of other fish; nor can you keep one in a 30 gallon tank. Flowerhorns can grow to 12"; even smaller specimens will pass the 8" mark. One 8" flowerhorn would be okay in a 55 gallon tank, but would have to be moved to a 75 gallon once it hits 9-10 inches.

Females will not develop a prominent hump the way the males will. You cannot inhibit the growth of the male's hump without compromising his health.

The fact that you have mixed such aggressive fish from 2 differnt parts of the world is going to end in one of the fish being "King"
My guess if the Terror is Large enough he might be the one over the Africans. He has to be big (double) and a place to "Rest" If not one of the Africans will soon wear him down. As for the convict they are less aggressive (unless mating) and might be ok. As to add the Flowerhorn be careful if it's to small they wil grow and soon battle a larger more aggrsive fish. Use the 30g fort it. I love terrors when fully grown a beautiful fish, but Africans need there own tank if under 100gal. give plenty of spaces to "own" I do like the drama of who will "rule" but be careful.
