Absolute value is magnitude of value
absolute value of 1 = 1
absolute value of -1 = 1
So,
absolute value of no = magnitude of no
absolute value of yes = magnitude of yes
How can magnitude of no = magnitude of yes?

Absolute value is the distance from that value to the zero point.
The distance from zero (nothing) to getting a "no" is roughly two drinks and one inappropriate proposition.

No = - yes or yes = - no
Abs (no) = abs (-yes) = yes
and
Abs (yes) = abs (-no) = no
