Yes, because when you're in a bar you've put yourself in a public, social place, where people consider it alright to come up and talk to strangers. Since you put yourself in that situation, yes, it's definitely rude to ignore someone on the basis of their being "unhot". If they're just flat out creepy, then that's another matter...

At least say something, not ignore him. Theres nothing to be gain from rejecting a person wif an insult. What you should realise is tat someone who is of no significant today, may be a person of power tomorrow. Or maybe he is already a person of power. Show them contempt once and when they get the chance to turn the tables, they will get you. Wrongs are forgiven but contempt never is. Know who you are dealing wif...never offend the wrong person.

Um yes, he may be attracted to you because u are hot (so u say). But i am sure after he speaks to you he may change his mind (you're sounding pretty shallow right now).
Personality and smarts go a long way and you may be losing out on something really great just because u think u are too hot for him. Attraction is important but looks aren't everything.

Yes it is and beauty can be taken in a second. just think of 1 wreck coming home from one of those bars how it can disfigure you then would you like being ignored cause they are to good looking for you? might want to think about the things we do. Karma loves to come bite you in the a**.

yes. so he's trying to talk to you...what makes you think he's trying to pick you up...can't he just be chatty? And anyways..this "unhot" guy could be way out of your league anyways.....most people wouldn't want to stoop so low as to date someone who is superficial

If the guy is just talking then yes it is , it wouldn't hurt to be
